From their meeting on the set of Green Lantern to their wedding two years later, this pair are the real deal.
And unlike many other Hollywood couples who prefer to keep schtum about their partners, Ryan has always been vocal about his devotion to his wife.
Dubbed the ‘Met Gala’s best surprise,’ Ryan and Blake featured on Humans of New York, a social media page dedicated to telling people’s stories.
Alongside a photograph of them at the event, the caption reads: “She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old.
“And she’s made me a more empathetic person. I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times.”
Blake and Ryan weren’t the only celebrity couple featured on the HONY page that night, with Serena Williams and her partner Alexis Ohanian, and comedian Stephen Colbert and wife Evelyn also making an appearance.
