Charles and Camilla arrive in New Zealand

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have arrived in Wellington for their tour of New Zealand.

They were greeted at Government House by mayor Celia Wade-Brown, Prime Minister John Key and his wife Bronagh.

This will be the Prince of Wales’ ninth official visit to Aotearoa, and the Duchess’ second.

After their welcome, the royals took part in a wreath laying and Commonwealth Walkway unveiling.

It was a cold and wet start to their royal tour in Wellington, and their welcome was cut short due to the rain.
