Queer Eye’s Antoni has a delicious new series exploring celebrity foodie history

Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski has been making us hungry with his delicious creations for years. Well, his new television show No Taste Like Home explores the connection between food and family, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Known for being the ‘foodie’ member of the Fab Five, Antoni is branching out on his own in the new series, which arrives on Disney+ this month. He’ll be taking six celebrities on a journey through their culinary roots.

What is No Taste Like Home about?

Food is a lot more than fuel, it is a cultural connector. That’s the premise of the show hosted by the Queer Eye star, who is joined by celebrities to explore the rich history connected to some of their favourite family recipes. It sounds a bit like Who Do You Think You Are?, but with food.

On the star-studded lineup? Crazy Rich Asians stars Awkwafina and Henry Golding, James Marsden, Florence Pugh – who fans will know presented her own Instagram series ‘Cooking with Flo’ –, Issa Rae and Justin Theroux.

In each episode, Antoni and his guests uncover the unique stories behind cherished family dishes, such as the origins of Justin Theroux’s family pasta in Italy or the flavours of Awkwafina’s Korean heritage. Along the way, they meet local travellers who share their own family stories and culinary traditions.
