From the moment Matilda Rice and Rugby Sevens players Sam Dickson, Lote Raikabula, Regan Ware, DJ Forbes and Scott Curry strutted out under the bright lights, it was clear the crowds were loving the star power coming down the catwalk.

Matilda, who was unveiled as the newest ambassador for Jockey last month, received some of the biggest cheers of the night as she made her debut wearing a black two-piece set.

“I pretty much just cut carbs, kept them really low for the past few days and just tried to eat as clean as possible,” said the blonde beauty of her preparation for tonight’s show.

Meanwhile, Matilda’s other half Art Green, who was cheering his girlfriend on from the sidelines, had a few expert tips for her as well.

“[Art told me] to just relax and have fun,” Matilda revealed.

While the star looked to be in her element leading the charge during the show, she confessed it wasn’t all smooth sailing.

“I was just trying to walk normally and remember what I was supposed to do – which I forgot halfway through!” she laughed.

Rugby sevens star Sam, 26, chimed in, adding that he was “stoked” to have taken part in the show.

“It’s cool, it was a good experience – I’m a little bit happy that it’s over but I’d definitely do it again. We had a lot of fun,” he said.
